Description

Handmade Beeswax Wraps – Naturally Reclaimed & Reusable

These beeswax wraps are made the way the bees would want them—simple, sustainable, and full of purpose.
Each one is hand-cut from fabric scraps donated by local crafters, then infused with a blend of rescued beeswax, pine resin, and jojoba oil.
The result? A reusable, antimicrobial, flexible wrap that sticks to itself and keeps your food fresher, longer.

I make these wraps in small batches, using wax reclaimed from live honeybee rescues. It’s wax that would’ve been lost inside walls, barns, and attics—but instead, it’s been given new life on your kitchen counter.

♻️ What Makes These Wraps Special:

  • 🐝 Beeswax from rescued wild hives

  • ✂️ Hand-cut fabric from donated craft drop-offs

  • 🌿 Zero-waste mindset—no two wraps are the same

  • 💧 Antimicrobial, breathable, naturally adhesive

  • 🍎 Safe for food—perfect for cheese, produce, bread, herbs & leftovers

  • 🔁 Washable, reusable, compostable

  • 🌈 Colors vary—every wrap is beautifully unique

🔍 A Note on Size & Shape

Because I use reclaimed materials, each wrap is slightly different in size and shape.
Sizes listed are approximate. Your wrap may be a little larger, smaller, wider, or funkier—and that’s exactly how I like it.

Nature doesn’t make things perfect. It makes them useful, beautiful, and full of character.

🌎 A Small Step with Big Impact

Using beeswax wraps helps reduce waste, ditch plastic, and support natural, chemical-free beekeeping.
It also helps me continue rescuing honeybee colonies—and giving their wax a second chance to serve a purpose.

Care and Use

🐝 Beeswax Wrap Care Instructions

To clean your wrap:

  • 🧼 Gently hand-wash in cool water with mild dish soap

  • 💧 Rinse and hang to air dry (a dish rack works great!)

  • 🌬️ Avoid hot water, dishwashers, or scrubbing—heat melts the wax!

To use your wrap:

  • Use the warmth of your hands to press and shape it around food, bowls, jars, or snacks

  • Works best on:
    ✅ Fruits & veggies
    ✅ Cheese
    ✅ Bread
    ✅ Bowls and plates

What not to do:
🚫 Don’t use with raw meat or fish
🚫 Don’t microwave
🚫 Don’t use on hot dishes or pans

How long will it last?
With proper care, your wrap can last 6 months to 2 years.
When it’s tired and worn out, it’s 100% compostable or great as a natural fire starter.

Bonus tip:
If your wrap gets a little creased or dry over time, lay it on parchment in the oven at low heat (around 175°F) for 1–2 minutes to refresh it. Let cool, and it’s good as new! 🧙‍♂️✨

✂️ Handmade, Naturally Varied Sizes

Each beeswax wrap is hand-cut from fabric scraps collected from local crafters and sewing drop-offs. I do this to maximize material use and minimize waste, giving new life to beautiful fabric that might have otherwise been tossed aside.

Because of this, no two wraps are exactly the same.
Sizes may vary slightly from what’s listed—but each one is made with care, intention, and a commitment to sustainability.

🐝 It’s all part of the charm—and a reminder that nature doesn’t do “perfect.”
Thank you for loving the wild edges and quirky cuts that make these wraps special.
